Building Confidence on Two Wheels

Over the past two weeks, students in the Glencoe and McClure units have enjoyed taking part in AUSbike sessions. The program gave students the chance to build their confidence, improve their bike riding skills and have fun while staying active.

Through a range of games and activities, students learnt important skills such as balancing, steering, braking and controlling their bikes safely. It was wonderful to see students challenge themselves, encourage each other and celebrate their achievements along the way.

One of the biggest highlights was seeing several students ride without their training wheels for the very first time. This is a huge milestone, and they should all be very proud of what they achieved.

A big thank you to our families for helping make these sessions possible by bringing bikes to school and supporting students to take part. Your support was greatly appreciated and helped every child get the most out of this valuable experience.

Well done to all our students for their enthusiasm, perseverance and willingness to give everything a go!
